My first artifact in my portfolio is my Altered Book. It was my first project in a University Honors class. It painted a picture of who I was as a new freshman, and looking back at it shows me how I have changed both for the better and the worse. Some of my passions and views have been strengthened and refined, others have been sifted out, and others were neglected in my pursuit of perfection. Fortunately, since beginning this project, I have done a better job at remembering to not forget about the activities that I love.
